Project Summary
Located in the heart of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, the LOGGIA–BEAUBIEN project is a community-focused residential development rooted in social inclusion and neighborhood engagement. The project delivers 47 housing units designed to support families and residents of the borough through a dignified, sustainable, and context-sensitive architectural approach.
Architectural Vision
The architectural concept for LOGGIA–BEAUBIEN balances social purpose with architectural clarity. Massing is organized around a human-scaled courtyard, fostering visual openness, natural light penetration, and shared outdoor space for residents.
The façades are articulated through a careful composition of brick masonry and light-toned cladding, offering durability, warmth, and visual rhythm. Recessed balconies and loggias animate the elevations while preserving privacy and encouraging everyday use of exterior space. Window proportions are generous and vertically aligned, reinforcing coherence and maximizing daylight within residential units.
The courtyard functions as the social heart of the project—designed as a green, calm, and accessible environment that strengthens community interaction and reinforces a sense of belonging.
