Founded in 2002, MMA is a Montréal-based architectural firm specializing in new residential and mixed-use urban projects. Rooted in the city’s openness, cultural diversity, and human scale, our practice is collaborative and personal, built on close relationships with clients, consultants, and builders. For us, architecture is not abstract, it is specific, contextual, and shaped by people.
With thousands of residential units designed across Montréal, Laval, the South Shore, and surrounding regions, MMA has established itself as a trusted partner for leading developers. Currently engaged in the design of a 14-storey mass-timber building, the tallest of its kind in Quebec, we continue to advance practical innovation while delivering architecture that is durable, responsible, and firmly rooted in urban reality.
Led by architects and technical experts, we work closely with developers to deliver well-designed, buildable, and regulation-driven architecture in dense urban environments. Our team of architects, technicians, and designers combines creative design thinking with strong technical expertise to guide projects from concept through construction. Our work spans wood, steel, and concrete structures, with a consistent emphasis on constructability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
