Victoriatown

Project Summary:

Victoriatown Condos is a boutique-scale residential development located in Montréal’s vibrant Sud-Ouest borough. Positioned on Rue Bourgeoys, the project offers 36 contemporary condominium units within a cohesive three-storey structure. Designed for residents seeking refined, urban living within a tranquil neighborhood context, Victoriatown blends timeless materiality with modern comfort, extending the architectural character of Griffintown into a more intimate and livable residential format.

Architectural Vision:

The architectural design of Victoriatown reflects the rhythm and human scale characteristic of Montréal’s Sud-Ouest. The massing is carefully modulated to relate to its surrounding urban fabric, featuring a sequence of three-storey plexes topped with setback mezzanines and private rooftop terraces. This typology preserves the residential scale of the area while introducing modern lines and balanced proportions. The façade composition emphasizes brick masonry as the principal cladding material, articulated through alternating vertical and horizontal rhythms. Generous glazing, promoting a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Key Features:

Elegant Material Palette: High-quality brick façade with refined detailing.

Private terraces for upper units, creating stepped rooflines.

Contextual Integration: Scaled to match the traditional plex typology of the Sud-Ouest.

Designed to enhance the neighborhood’s evolving architectural landscape.

Contributes to the ongoing revitalization of Rue Bourgeoys through human-scale urban design.
